General Manager / Head of Operations
This is a unique and exciting opportunity to step into the role of General Manager / Head of Operations at Moddershall Oaks Country Spa Retreat – a luxury destination in the heart of rural Staffordshire.
As the most senior on-site operational leader, you will oversee the full guest journey and day-to-day operations, inspiring and guiding our talented teams to deliver five-star service at every touchpoint. From spa and wellness, to dining, events, and overnight stays, this role is central to creating unforgettable experiences that reflect our brand and values.
We’re looking for a dynamic, people-focused leader with strong operational and managerial experience in any fast-paced, customer-centric environment. While experience in hospitality, leisure or wellness is an advantage, it’s not essential — what matters most is your ability to lead with confidence, drive results, and motivate others to deliver exceptional service.
You’ll work closely with the Directors and department heads to support a culture of excellence, ensure operational success, and help shape the future growth of the business. This includes managing departmental budgets effectively, supporting HR processes from recruitment to retention, and driving performance through clear KPIs and measurable targets.

Hours: 45 hours per week
Days: 5 days per week, including weekends and late nights (flexibility is essential)
