Whether you’re looking for a traditional glamorous event with a sit-down meal, or a more informal and fun event with a relaxed buffet, all proms at Moddershall Oaks enjoy exclusive use of the Venue and the adjacent grounds, allowing you to create a true celebration and party atmosphere that’s unique to you.
Set in a 72 acre estate with private lake and woodlands, the picture-perfect location provides a beautiful backdrop for your group photos.
All food at Moddershall Oaks is carefully prepared onsite by our talented team of chefs, meaning we’re able to cater for any dietary requirements. Our experienced events team will help take the stress out of planning and can recommend suppliers for all those extra details such as photographers, decorations and entertainment.

To make life easier, we’ve created a handy student prom check list to ensure that your event runs like clockwork…
- Pull together an organising committee and split our responsibilities between the group
- Pick your date and venue and get it booked!
- Pick a theme – this will help create cohesion on all future decisions!
- Come up with entertainment ideas (…will you have a photo booth, a magician, a DJ or live music etc?)
- Think about the little extras (such as a table plan, a donut wall or an ice cream bike…the options are endless!)
- Book a photographer
- Send out invites and advertise the prom in school
- Finalise menus, timings, decorations, detail and payment

Please note: Valid ID (passport or drivers licence) is required for anyone wishing to be served alcohol at a prom event. Alternatively, upon request, your event can be completely alcohol free. Safety is of paramount concern when hosting younger guests. At Moddershall Oaks, we request parent, guardian or teacher presence in the venue for all proms parties, based on minimum of 1 responsible adult per 20 students.
