ABOUT THE POSITION
The MADE Centre Manager is responsible for the overall operations, performance, and success of the wellness centre, ensuring an outstanding experience for both customers and staff. This role requires a hands-on leader who can effectively manage the team, drive business growth, and maintain the highest standards in service, safety, and customer engagement.
Key responsibilities include:
Team & Operations Management – Oversee all aspects of MADE, including staffing, scheduling, stock control, and health & safety. Lead the team across wellbeing, café, and events, ensuring high performance, accountability, and engagement.
Customer Experience & Community – Ensure every visitor receives a warm welcome and exceptional service. Build strong relationships with members and guests, creating a vibrant, inclusive, and community-focused environment.
Sales & Membership Growth – Drive membership sales, increase retention, and oversee all customer enquiries and sign-ups. Identify opportunities to grow revenue, improve member engagement, and expand MADE’s reach and impact.
Leadership & Team Development – Motivate, support, and develop the MADE team, creating a positive culture and leading by example. Ensure strong communication and smooth day-to-day operations across the department.
Marketing & Events – Work closely with the marketing team to promote MADE, contribute ideas and content for social media, and support the organisation of events, workshops, and corporate wellness initiatives.
Financial Oversight – Monitor sales, costs, and margins, ensuring the business meets targets while maintaining excellent service and operational standards.
Facilities & Standards – Ensure all areas of MADE, including the café, gym, and treatment spaces, are clean, well-maintained, and operating efficiently. Oversee risk assessments, security, and compliance procedures.
Previous experience in management, sales, or membership-based environments is essential. We are looking for a strong leader with excellent organisational and administrative skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to build strong relationships with members and guests. Experience within hospitality, wellness, leisure, or fitness industries would be beneficial. Fitness qualifications are welcomed but are not essential for the role.
