Event & Restaurant Assistant
We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic team players to join our events team, playing a key role in making our Venue one of the best places for special events in Staffordshire and beyond.
The Events Assistant role involves setting the venue up for weddings, parties and exclusive events, including the manual handling and movement of chairs, tables and other event equipment. You will greet guests, provide a seamless food and drink service, ensure the venue remains clean and tidy at all times and clear away after the event has finished. In addition to supporting our events, you will also be expected to assist across our other Food & Beverage areas when required, including our Oak House Restaurant.
You will have a friendly and professional approach to ensure our guests are welcomed and provided with a service that is both memorable and delivered to the highest standards.
This role would suit someone with previous events and hospitality experience or someone with a passion for events or studying a degree in Events Management.
Hours: 0 hours
Fixed Term: 09/03/2026-30/09/2026 (with potential to be offered a permanent contract)
Shifts: Can be between 09:00 and 01:30 – includes working Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday (plus some adhoc midweek shifts)
Salary: £10.00-£12.21 per hour
